2011 fundraising

Cambridge to Brockdish Bike Ride No. 5   |    £5,000

Another brilliant success for the East Anglian annual pelaton, including two uber enthusiasts who cycled 60 miles from London to Cambridge first, before joining the others to cycle the other 65 miles to Brockdish. A 4am start and rather saddle sore by the end!

Great North Run   |   £1,250

Many thanks to Matthew Sexton for running the Great North Run for the Trust this September.

Dingle Peninsula half marathon   |   £1,000

Big thanks to Meriel Tolhurst-Cleaver for her Irish running in the Dingle Peninsula half marathon, raising £1000.

Ironman UK   |   £1,800

Huge thanks to Benji Marriage for raising £1800 by completing the mad Ironman challenge.

The Big Brave Parachute Jump   |   £1,350

Susie Wallis completed her fundraising feats for us, after getting injured in ironman training a couple of years ago, by jumping out of a plane. Less injuries this time...

A marathon 'double banker'   |   £350

Will Grut ran not one, but two half marathons - both sponsored by banks - for us in Canada this year. Apparently no rhyming slang insults were allowed, as they don't have rhyming slang in Canada...

London Marathon   |   £4,000

Vicki Eyre Brook replicated her Stockholm triumph (see 2008) on the London streets, raising over £4000 for the Trust.
